Hair And Skin Beauty Tips That Really Make A Difference

Many believe that you either look attractive or you don’t. This just isn’t true. The advice found here can help you find your inner beauty and let it shine. Being beautiful is more than just looking good physically, as being authentic as a person is critical too.

If you want to add a pinch of color to your face midday, consider stocking up on a stick of cream blush or a gel-based cheek blusher. Apply a small amount to the apples of your cheek, then blending in circular motions. This keeps your face looking fresh in a natural and easily applied in a manner that is especially flattering.

If you have fine lines around your eyes, mouth, and forehead, you should look for cosmetics with light-reflecting particles. These products, which are just more matte than shimmery, can reflect light in a way that appears to make the fine lines simply disappear. You can use this trick all over your face, or just in your laugh lines.

If you are a balding man it may be time to try hair regrowth products. Many women find balding to be unattractive, and if you have the possibility to regrow your hair then it is worth the effort. Many of these products are not prohibitively expensive, so they are worth a try.

Makeup can do wonders for your eyes, but do not expect great results if you already have red eyes. Get in the habit of carrying eye drops with you wherever you go, so that you can treat red eyes right away. These can be used for instant relief if your eyes are blurry from sitting at the computer or if they are dry from being in the sun.

Keep to a schedule for maximum beauty benefit. You do not have to schedule everything, but you do need to schedule your meals. Studies have shown that people who are consistent with their routines concerning food and drink, look years younger, and live longer, than people who are sporadic with their eating times.

Boar hair brushes are great to help reduce frizz in your hair. A great number of people have unruly, frizzy hair. When drying your hair, use your boar bristle brush to tame it down. This will help to avoid frizzy hair. Brush the affected hair gently while pointing the dryer downward as you dry.

Remove the arch from your eyebrows if you have a problem with dark circles under your eyes. The arch in your eyebrows can create a circular look around your eyes. This can exaggerate any dark circles you might already have. To remedy this, just tweeze your eyebrows so that they are straighter.

Add a little shimmer to your eyes with a shimmery eye shadow! This type of eye shadow gives your eyes a shine that brightens your eyes and gives them the illusion of being bigger. Choose colors that are similar to your skin tone, be it orange or pink. Don’t be hesitant about experimenting with various techniques and colors.

Sometimes people think you are either beautiful or not. Even if you don’t find yourself beautiful, the tips here can help you find all the beauty that you already have. Instead of concentrating on your imperfections, examine everything that is wonderful about you.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
